Angela Davis

Affectionately known as Mama Angela in the Village, Angela’s goal is to be a life-giving force to everyone she meets! Her family of 7 includes her 5 Black Geniuses, with whom she cherishes every moment, and her brilliant husband Randy. In addition to her work at Village of Wisdom, Angela loves gardening, herbalism, foraging, and fermenting. As a Natural Foodways and Healing Advocate, sharing what she knows with anyone who will listen is her passion. Angela co-founded Homeschoolers of Color and volunteers with La Leche League as a leader supporting breastfeeding families. Dreaming that every Black child recognizes the genius they are alongside everyone in their communities drives Angela’s heart for this work!
