Cassey Mapp-Ahmed

Growing up in the mountains of North Carolina has deeply influenced Cassey’s connection to nature and holistic healing, fueling her dedication to improving black maternal health. As a mother of two and the eldest of six siblings, Cassey is devoted to fostering a wellness culture within our community, which is mirrored in her role as the founder and owner of Village Sis Doula, LLC. Cassey is committed to partnering with the community to highlight the significance of collective support and solidarity in advancing health and well-being.

Cassey’s self-care routines, like savoring herbal tea, immersing herself in nature, and spending quality time with her children, showcase the harmony she strives for between personal renewal and professional pursuits. By prioritizing her well-being with the support of our Village, Cassey aims to better contribute to positively impacting others’ lives. She believes in the strength of communal backing, emphasizing that building individual and communal prosperity in health and wellness truly requires a village. Each day, Cassey endeavors to embody the transformative power of shared care and empowerment.
