Dream for Black Children

“My dream for Black children is that they are protected, loved, cherished, and respected. For them to love laughter and have a love for learning. My dream for Black children is bubble gum, bubble gum in a dish; how many pieces do you wish? Hide and seek, who’s the fastest in the middle of the street on a warm summer day, and tag, you’re it. My dream for Black children is that they are loved like grandma’s hugs. That the world stop taking them for granted because they are our future. ”
