Crystal, an Anson County native, is a former science teacher and current education rights attorney, focusing on special education, school discipline, and discrimination cases. She is a proud alumna of North Carolina A&T State University and NCCU School of Law. In her free time, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family, reading, exploring nature, and trying new vegan recipes. Crystal serves as a member of the Board of Directors for H.E.A.R.T.S., a Durham-based non-profit focused on educating and equipping adolescent student parents with the tools needed to become independent and self-sufficient.
