Big news! Village of Wisdom’s That’s Just Good Teaching (TJGT) Program has been awarded a $4 million Education Innovation and Research grant by the Department of Education!

This is a huge milestone for us!

Over the next five years, we’ll be focusing on enhancing both social-emotional and academic outcomes for students by developing culturally affirming learning strategies and digital resources. With initiatives like teacher professional development, parent-teacher residencies, and community-driven assessments, we’re committed to reimagining education that acknowledges and nurtures the genius and humanity of Black children.
